Educational Qualification: Candidates must be Passed in 12th Class of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University for Army Wing of National Defence Academy and must be Passed in 12th Class of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University for Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on performance in Written Examination, Psychological Aptitude Test, Intelligence Test and SSB Interview.

Application Fee: Candidates need to Pay Rs.100/- in the form of Cash in any Branch of SBI or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India/ State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/ State Bank of Hyderabad/ State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/ State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit Card. अपनी मखमली आवाज और सौम्य बर्ताव के लिए मशहूर मोहम्मद रफी का जन्म 24 दिसम्बर 1924 को अमृतसर में हुआ था। बचपन से ही संगीत के शौकीन रफी ने अपनी संगीत शिक्षा उस्ताद अब्दुल वाहिद खान से ली। अक्सर अपने बड़े भाई की दुकान पर गाकर लोगों की प्रशंसा जीतने वाले रफी ने अपना पहला प्रदर्शन लाहौर आकाशवाणी पर किया।

उस समय के प्रख्यात गायक कुंदनलाल सहगल ने स्टेज पर बिजली नहीं होने की वजह से गाने से मना कर दिया इस पर 13-वर्षीय मोहम्मद रफी को गाने का अवसर दिया गया। उनके गाने को सुनकर हिन्दी सिनेमा के प्रसिद्ध संगीतकार श्यामसुन्दर ने उन्हें बम्बई आने का न्यौता दिया। इस तरह मोहम्मद रफी की फिल्मी गायन करियर शुरू हुआ। उनका पहला गीत एक पंजाबी फिल्म गुल बलोच में था जबकि उन्होंने अपना पहला हिन्दी गीत संगीतकार नौशाद के लिए "पहले आप" नाम की फिल्म में गाया।

बैजू-बावरा में प्लेबैक सिंगिंग करने के बाद रफी ने पीछे मुड़कर नहीं देखा। नौशाद, शंकर-जयकिशन, एस.डी. बर्मन, ओ.पी. नैय्यर, मदन मोहन जैसे संगीत निर्देशकों की पहली पसंद बन चुके रफी दिलीप कुमार, राजेन्द्र कुमार, धर्मेन्द्र, शम्मी कपूर और राजेश खन्ना की आवाज बन गए।

रफी ने अपने चार दशक लंबे सिंगिंग करियर में लगभग हर बड़े अभिनेता और संगीत निर्देशक के साथ काम किया। उन्हें एक बार राष्ट्रीय फिल्म पुरस्कार तथा छह बार फि ल्मफेयर पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया। उन्हें वर्ष 1967 में पद्मश्री पुरस्कार से भी नवाजा गया। 31 जुलाई 1980 को मोहम्मद रफी का दिल का दौरा पड़ने से देहान्त हो गया।
